Pearl Sober Living provides a calm, structured, and supportive environment in Chiang Mai, Thailand, for individuals transitioning from treatment to independent living.
For many, the most daunting phase of recovery isn’t the initial detox—it is the moment primary treatment ends. Whether you are completing rehab anywhere in Thailand, internationally, or right here in Chiang Mai, the transition home is the highest risk point for relapse.
The Pearl Sober House is a true second-stage residence. We aren’t a hospital or a resort; we are a high-functioning home designed for the Reconnection Phase. We replace the passive “patient” role with active Semi-Independent Living, providing the autonomy you’ve earned with the safety net you still need.
We move beyond the classroom. The Pearl focuses on Action-Based Recovery and Sober Coaching rather than all-day clinical group therapy. We provide a high-accountability environment where residents take the tools they learned in treatment and actually use them—from managing a personal schedule to handling real world social triggers.
Recovery is about learning to live again. Our Growth Nest is designed for Semi-Independent Living, where residents re-learn the essential rituals of a healthy life. With private rooms for personal space, shared kitchen facilities for nutrition and life-skills, and high-speed workspaces for those re-starting careers, we provide the bridge to a functional future.
Isolation is the enemy of sobriety. We are physically located at the heart of the Chiang Mai 12-Step scene, providing immediate access to one of the largest English-speaking recovery communities in the world. Led by the owner’s own long-term recovery journey and active 12-step involvement, we plug residents into a vast network of local meetings and mentors, ensuring they build "social capital" that lasts.
